About Me

About Me

My interest in media started when I was a kid. I loved watching movies, but I was just as fascinated by what happened behind the scenes, how everything was filmed, edited, and brought together to tell a story. As I got older, I decided to volunteer with the media team at my hometown church. That gave me the chance to get behind a camera and start creating for myself, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked. I started photography when I was 16, and from there my interest grew into videography, editing, and other areas of media production.
That passion eventually led me to the University of Southern Mississippi, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Media & Entertainment Arts with an emphasis in Video Arts. During my time at USM, I had the opportunity to work on music videos, commercials, news packages, documentaries, short films, and other productions. After moving to Hattiesburg for college, I also began volunteering with the media team at my new church, which gave me another opportunity to continue creating and developing my skills outside of the classroom.
Fast forward to today, and I now work full-time as a photographer and videographer for Howard Industries, where I create photo and video content highlighting the people, products, and work behind one of the world’s leading power transformer manufacturers. After more than 8 years behind the camera, I’m incredibly grateful for where this journey has taken me and for every opportunity I’ve been given along the way.
Above all, I give all the credit and glory to God for the talents, opportunities, and experiences that have allowed me to do what I love. I’m excited to continue growing, creating, and telling stories through the work I do.
